This trimmer is everything you could ask for. Gave it to my son for Christmas. I ended up borrowing it to trim my hedge. It was great. The battery life is excellent and it did the job. I've always liked the Toro mowers - had two gas models, and was delighted to buy about their cordless one. Of course one of the best features of this line is that all tools use the same 60V battery, so I upgraded my collection to include the hedge trimmer and the string trimmer. The hedge trimmer turned out to be a favorite of both my wife and I - there is no set up, the battery lasts forever - we had a whole bunch of large bushes that we had neglected due to the annoyance of using the corded tool. Now that we tried it, we are going to use it on a regular basis, and keep everything looking great all year. The easy turning mechanism is brilliant as it makes it easier to reach deep on the lower parts and sides of the bushes. Added bonus now having a second charger and battery that comes with the trimmer--keeps me working while one's in the charger. This is a serious, well made tool with excellent balance and some weight, but I find it very easy to handle. If I only had 10 feet of thin hedge, I probably would have replaced my 25 yr old plug-in B&D with something lighter--but this is clearly a step-up in power and performance. Well worth it!! I bought this tool a few weeks ago and use it around the house. It is easy enough to use and does a great job cutting branches up to 3/4" in diameter (it does take more time). Makes quick work of normal growth on bushes. The tool doesn't feel too heavy and is pretty easy to maneuver around when trimming. I rated it 4 stars because of how the switches for turning on the tool work. There are two switches on either side of the handle where you squeeze the trigger that have to be pushed along with the switch on the grab bar. If there was a way to lock the trigger switch down so all the user had to do was activate and deactivate the switch on the grab bar, it wouldn't be so awkward. Over time I will probably get used to it. There is a blue button on top to rotate the handle for easier cutting angles (this is one feature I chose this model and brand over some others for). Bought the hedge trimmer and leaf blower and both have performed quite well. I just received my lawn mower with the 7.5ah battery and was able to cut the lawn(lot is total 8k sq ft with the house) then slap the battery in the leaf blower and do my entire property and blow off the mower. I really like this hedge trimmer. I was using a shorter, corded trimmer and this is a huge upgrade to that. I have used it weekly now in the backyard, cutting back shrubs and overgrowth. The blades are sharp and so far seem to be very strong. I’ve caught them on some thick branches, but I haven’t had any noticeable damage to the trimmer yet. There are two switches required for operation, so both hands have to be on the trimmer to get it to turn on. Plus, the actual trigger has its own safety before being able to move. The push button feature allows you to twist the body/trimmer 90 degrees right or left. Safe guard in place for starting it as well. Outstanding - The Toro Flex-Force cordless hedge trimmer is one powerful tool! When they say it has 3/4 inch cutting capacity they mean it. Fortunately there are some really well thought out safety features that make sure accidents are less likely to happen - like you have to have both hands on the tool in the right place for it to operate. I also found the hedge trimmer to be well balanced with the battery in place. We took on a large landscaping project last year and expect to have plenty of trimming to do as the season progresses. Just to put the Toro hedge trimmer through is paces, I went through a wild blueberry thicket with no issues. and then onto some white pine saplings. These things grow like weeds around here and they are a lot of work to keep after. The Toro cut through them like nobody's business. I really like the way the head rotates on the handle so you can trim both vertically and horizontally without twisting into awkward positions. I already have some of the other Flex-Force tools and have bee very pleased with them as well and will be purchasing more as existing tools come up for replacement. The Flex-Force is a really good tool system and its a huge plus that the batteries are interchangeable from tool to tool. This hedge trimmer is large enough and powerful enough to handle most any trimming job. It’s a little heavier than a corded one because of the battery, but it’s still very easy to handle. It’s also nice not to have to deal with a cord. The handle actually rotates and locks into different positions to make it more comfortable for holding and cutting at different angles.There is a safety mechanism that prevents you from accidentally starting it just by grabbing it. The trimmer also shuts off automatically if you let go of the handle.The blades came sharp and lubricated well. There is a hole on the end piece for hanging it in storage. It also comes with a plastic sleeve that covers the blades when not in use.The battery has indicator lights to show you how charged it is and the charger can be wall mounted if you want.The trimmer ran very consistent with no fluctuations in power and made quick work of my hedges. Excellent power, run-time, and cut action. To get those features means a large heavy battery. There is a lot to like about this new Toro hedge trimmer. The power rivals gas powered units. The blades on the cutter were sharp and did a better job cutting than my corded hedger. But to get those 60 volts and 2.5 Ah out of this unit means a lot of cells in the battery. And that means weight. Yes it’s heavy (9.9 lbs with battery by my scale). More than double the weight of my corded hedger (but less than the 11.1 lb Kobalt 80v). The Toro is well balanced and much easier to handle over a corded trimmer. I trimmed an 75 ft long 6 foot tall hedge and several bushes (see photos) and used just half the battery. I was also impressed with the charger. I topped off the battery after that job in just 30 minutes. Price wise the Toro is right in the mix with the others (Ego, Kobalt, Echo, etc) at $199 with a single battery (March 2020). I rate this Toro a solid ‘B’. great product 2 Mar 20

Please be sure to have available help on hand to assist you with moving the item to the desired location in or outside of your home. Freight items must be inspected upon delivery. In the unlikely event that damaged is observed, you MUST refuse delivery and note the damage on the shipping receipt and send it back via the Freight carrier. We offer a 30 day return/exchange policy for most of our products. You can request a refund if you are dissatisfied for any reason with your product. (Restocking Fee May Apply). Only factory defects are accepted as a reason for a return. In the case of factory defects, if available, we will replace the product for you. When returning an item, it must be in all of the original packaging and include all of the original accessories or items that came with it. The item and package should be in original and perfect condition. You will be required to cover shipping on the return of non-defective items. All returns MUST be done within 30 days of date of purchase. Please note that we cannot give refunds or replacements after the 30 day limit has expired. When sending in a return, please note that it can take up to 7 business days for the return to be processed. We do our best to process as quickly as possible. If you need to exchange an item received, you will need to go through the normal returns process identified in our returns section and then order the correct item, if it is still available. Orders are processed immediately and dispatched to fulfillment as soon as they are received. For this reason, we are typically unable to honor cancellation requests. If you need to cancel the transaction, please contact us as soon as possible and we will attempt to cancel the order. If the order has gone too far through the fulfillment process, we will be unable to cancel. In that event, you would need to wait until you receive the item and go through the normal returns process as mentioned in the returns section of our policies.
