Appears to be built sturdily. It's basically a very awkward tool just because of the nature of its design...long, with all the weight on one end. There is a problem my son and I agree on; the Sun Joe is “top-heavy.” One end is heavier than the other and creates an imbalance that makes using it harder and less safe. A redo using a “counterbalance technology expert” would fix the issue, could increase sales, decrease returns, and make the Sun Joe easier and safer to use; the strap doesn’t help the problem.
