This auction is for one RARE 1983 Oster 520 Rechargable Clippers Cordless NOS 1st Wireless Clippers that would be great in a museum clipper history display or collection. I believe these are one of, if not the, first cordless rechargeable clippers made. These do not appear to have ever been used, and thus are NOS new old stock. It is possible that they were used once or twice, but it doesn't really look like it as far as I can tell. Obviously since we're dealing with 40-year-old Ni-Cad batteries, I did NOT attempt to charge these, and so I have no clue if they work. I would assume those old batteries are bad and that these are more museum piece rather than clippers to actually use. Note the large and detailed photographs. This is a rare item that's hard to find in such nice condition. Don't pass it up, and email me any questions. Thanks.
