Don't tumble, smash or crush your flowers with machines that use fingers or bars to stir up your flowers or large machines that require large amounts of flowers to be piled in, rubbing against each other and crushing the flowers on the bottom into the blades. And stay away from the wet "bowl" trimmers! they will smash all the exterior trichome off with the thick silicone fingers leaving you buds looking terrible when dried. This machine was designed to be gentle and touchless. ONLY THE BLADES TOUCH THE FLOWERS . This does NOT lose more Trich than hand trimming as many machines do. This is essentially 48, 5" scissors trimming at once without any sticky fingers holding the flower. All that touches the flower is the blade, no hands and no bars or arms stirring or rolling them over like other machines and no aggressive tumbling. And, instead of the lost trichomes being stuck to your gloves, it can be collected from the trim in the bucket. The blades are Laser cut and then go through 7 stages of deburring, flattening, chamfering, sanding, lapping, polishing and a final flattening. This results in sharp edges and close tolerances meaning it cuts clean and close. Because it's sharp, this will trim wet also but it's main design is dry trimming. This trimmer is the right size for the home grower and gentle enough for your top shelf indoor . Don't let its size fool you though, it is capable of trimming 2-4 pounds an hour depending on the product. If you run a larger operation, buy a few and each of your workers can use them as needed. Pour a quarter pound or so into this machine, operate the blade by hand for a few minutes and most of the work of trimming is done! A quick touch up by hand if desired and your flowers are ready. As with any trim machine, this may not get every last leaf. This does about 75% of the work for you. If you grow dense flowers, dry and buck them correctly, then it can do more of the work. Some flowers come out 100% done. This also works great on smalls or popcorn buds. Bigger machines have wider slots and more material piled in pushing the bottom material into the blades and chew up the smalls. This machine does not and it trims them so well that they can be mixed back into the final product. Some larger operations use this trimmer specifically for their smalls.
